Dateline December 28, 2004:  Now that Usher and Naomi Campbell have gone their separate ways, the R&B star is maintaining a social schedule that would make Paris Hilton blush.

Some of his appointments have been with hip-hop video vixen Karrine Steffans , whose nickname is unprintable in a family newspaper (but it's on her Web site).

Steffans has been visiting Usher on the set of his new movie, "Dying for Dolly." And an eyewitness tells us the model/actress emerged from a BMW 760 with him at the Century City Park Hyatt Hotel last week, wearing nothing but a white bathrobe.

When contacted, Steffans said, "We're old friends who have seen each other over the last five years. Currently [Usher and I are] seeing each other personally."

So, um, about the bathrobe?

"I was a surprise for him after a hard day's work," she purred. "I was his Christmas present. I had on a bow. He got his gift in the car."

Usher also has had several lunch dates in Los Angeles with "Antwone Fisher" beauty Joy Bryant. He hand-picked the actress to co-star in the 20-minute mini-movie he's debuting on Ryan Seacrest's New Year's Eve special on Fox.

Then there's model Eishia Brightwell, who was linked with Usher over the summer, and who posed with him in his eight-page spread in December's GQ.

With that schedule, who has time for a supermodel anyway?
